Join Education Abroad Ambassadors (EAA)

If you loved your study abroad program(s) and want a medium to share your experiences, consider joining Education Abroad Ambassadors! This organization joins students of diverse backgrounds and allows one another to learn the several study abroad programs UGA offers. We host fundraisers within the local Athens community and conduct socials for ambassadors to grow closer beyond meetings. In addition, we hold educational workshops for prospective study abroad students, where ambassadors are encouraged to share their personal experiences, the lessons they learned, and how to best prepare for the program. If you are seeking to obtain the Global Education and Leadership Certificate, Education Abroad Ambassadors easily offers volunteer hours and aids potential students throughout the process! AIESEC is the world's largest youth-led non-profit organization working towards peace and fulfilment of humankind's potential. In our local chapter, we are focused on facilitating cross cultural exchanges for other UGA students in efforts to complete the United Nation's 17 Sustainable Development Goals. AIESEC is represented in over 120 countries, including 25+ other local chapters right here in the United States. UGA Ranks 6th in the Nation for Study Abroad Participation

The University of Georgia moved up eight spaces to rank 6th in the nation for the number of students who study abroad, according to the latest Open Doors ranking from the Institute of International Education. UGA is the top-ranked institution in the Southeastern Conference and the only institution in the state of Georgia among the top 10.
